The simulated moving bed continuous ion exchange system is run in series by two set of  independent cation exchange systems and anion exchange systems, and liquid flows through the cation ion and anion ion beds alternatively, so that the ions can be exchanged to achieve the purpose of desalination and de-ashing.

Simulated moving bed continuous ion exchange system using the principle of carousel, the use of valve array control, so that adsorption, washing, regeneration, leaching at thesame time, start/stop button, fully automatic control programmed operation,feed,water, inlet regenerative agent and feed temperature automatic adjustment, pH value, conductivity online monitoring, unattended, just do a good job of the corresponding inspection work.

Advantage of Simulated moving bed continuous ion exchange

1. Columns which are series connected washing allows low concentration over high concentration to solve the problem of washing water taking away the material. 

2. Online reverse cleaning and cross-regeneration ensure the exchange capacity of resin. 

3. Columns which are series connected regeneration makes full use of the regenerative agent and reduces the consumption of the regenerative agent. 

4. Columns which are series connected washing, reducing the amount of washing water and the discharge of sewage. 

5. Multi-column parallel feeding, only one new column cut in each switch, reducing the impact of system fluctuations on the pH value of the discharge port. 

6. Valve array control can realize cross-column operation, which is convenient for equipment repair and maintenance.

7. Fully self-controlled operation reduces human factors and ensures the stability of discharge quality.

Characteristics of the Simulated moving bed 

The simulated moving bed continuous disengagement system is designed on the basis of the full room floating bed and the simulated moving bed, so the system has both the advantages of the good quality of the full room floating bed and the advantages of the simulated moving bed which saves acid and alkali and water, the specific characteristics are as follows.

1. The floating bed operation reduces the pressure, avoids resin crushing, and reduces acid, alkali and water consumption by 30% compared with the traditional moving bed continuous ion exchange system. 

2. Washing the anion & cation ion columns which are connected in series avoids the production of fructose in operation.

3. The feed adopts the sugar mode by the tired flow, which reduces the influence of the outgoing system fluctuation on the concentration, conductivity, color and PH value.

4. Cross-column operation mode, inthe case of no suspension of production, the resin can be reverse washed outside the body and abnormal conditions such as handling the cylinder,ensuring the stability of the system. 

5. The system adopts Rockwell DCS control system, through etherNet/IP communication instrument Ring to achieve pump start and stop, speed control and current, power, frequency, status and other real-time display, alarm and valve opening, running time, etc.,convenient for operator monitoring and traceability, reduce unnecessary failure points when hard wiring, improve the early warning of equipment.
